IHSG Mengalami Penurunan Lebih Dari 50% Selama Tahun 2008

Hari ini, 30 Desember 2008, menjadi hari perdagangan terakhir Bursa Efek Indonesia untuk tahun 2008. Hari ini IHSG ditutup di 1355,408. Di akhir tahun 2007, IHSG ditutup di 2745,83. Dengan kata lain, selama tahun 2008 ini IHSG mengalami penurunan lebih dari 50%.

Penurunan yang signifikan bila dilihat dari angkanya. Hal ini makin diperparah lagi dengan penurunan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap US dolar lebih dari 20%.

Sebentar lagi kita akan memasuki tahun 2009, tahun yang diharapkan akan memberikan kinerja yang lebih baik dari tahun 2008.

Bagi kalendar tahun Chinese, tahun 2008 adalah tahun tikus. Sementara tahun 2009 nanti akan menjadi tahun kerbau yang tepatnya akan dimulai tanggal 26 Januari 2009.

Ternyata, di tahun tikus memang menjadi tahun yang mengerogoti. Kalau mau survive di dunia saham, harus dengan cara menggerogoti, comot kiri comot kanan.

Tahun 2009, tahun kerbau. Kerbau tipe binatang yang suka dipekerjakan oleh manusia untuk menarik bajak di sawah. Dia harus bekerja keras di lapangan. Tampaknya, tahun 2009 ini, untuk bisa survive di dunia saham, harus bisa bekerja lebih keras lagi dari sebelumnya.

Tampaknya rintangan di tahun 2009, cukup besar. Tapi dengan kerja keras yang baik, niscaya bisa memberikan hasil akhir yang lebih baik.

Selamat menyongsong tahun 2009. Masukilah tahun 2009 dengan rasa optimis yang baru bahwa kita bisa lebih baik dari tahun 2008.
